The School of Craft Training

The ABC Keystone School of Craft Training provides textbook instruction, as well as practical, hands-on instruction. This dual approach enables the trainee to develop the knowledge and skills which the industry requires. This instruction is offered in a variety of formats:

  • Learning the basic skills of construction, in order to qualify for an entry-level position.
  • Taking a full-fledged three-to-four year program.
  • Enrolling in shorter topic-focused certificate programs.
  • Participating in journeyman upgrade classes in order to keep up with the latest trends and technology.

The School of Management Training

This management development program provides training opportunities for everyone from crew leaders to top company executives. Specialized training is offered for crew leaders, foremen, superintendents, project managers, estimators, human resources managers, safety managers, and financial managers.

In addition to courses that apply to specific career goals, special topic courses are offered in Communications, Leadership, Legal Issues and Ethics.

Students may pick and choose courses to fit their needs, or they may choose to pursue an entire track to earn a certificate of completion.

The School of Continuing Education (formerly Seminar Series)

The ABC Keystone School of Continuing Education offers a wide variety of topics that are designed to maintain and upgrade key skills and knowledge that are needed for a safe and efficient worksite.

General Education and Specialized Training classes that are offered annually, include:

  • Basic and Advanced Blueprint Reading
  • Basic Blueprint Reading for Support Staff
  • Medic First Aid CPR
  • 10 Hour OSHA
  • Field Engineering
  • Survival Skills for Small to Mid-Size Contractors

The School of Continuing Education also offers compliance and safety training to meet all of an individual's or company's needs.
